Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This policy explains how ABM Constructions UK Ltd (“ABM”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through this website and related enquiries.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

ABM Constructions UK Ltd is the controller of information you provide when contacting us about our construction, development, land or joint venture services. Contact us at info@abmconstructions.co.uk, telephone 0800 4118 300, or write to 55A Palmerston Road, SM1 4QL.

2. Information we collect

The enquiry form requires your name, email address and message so that we can respond. Other fields are optional. Please do not include sensitive personal information or confidential third-party documents unless we have agreed a suitable way to receive them.

3. Why we use information and our lawful bases

Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. If we later propose a materially different use of your information, we will provide appropriate privacy information before doing so.

4. Enquiry forms and recipients

Enquiries are sent to our business email account and may be retained in our email systems and related business records. Access is limited to people who need the information for the purposes described above.

Information may be handled by our website hosting provider, Krystal, our email and IT providers, and professional advisers such as legal, accountancy and insurance advisers where needed. Relevant project information may be shared with contractors, consultants or development partners when necessary to deal with your request or an agreed project. We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. In deciding the period, we consider whether an enquiry is active, the duration of any project or business relationship, contractual and insurance requirements, applicable legal or tax obligations, and the need to resolve complaints or legal claims. Unneeded information is deleted or anonymised through our record-review processes; it is not kept indefinitely simply because it may be useful.

6. Cookies and external links

The website may use essential session, security and preference technologies. Where optional analytics, advertising or similar technologies require consent, they must be enabled only with the appropriate permission. Any available cookie preferences can be used to manage those choices. You can also control cookies in your browser, although disabling essential cookies may affect some functions.

The ABM website theme does not itself add advertising or analytics trackers. Hosting, WordPress and installed tools may process technical information to provide their functions.

Our Instagram link takes you to an external website. Instagram processes information under its own privacy and cookie policies when you choose to visit it.

7. Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Service providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer is involved, an applicable adequacy arrangement or other legally appropriate safeguards are required. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you may have rights to access your information, correct it, request erasure or restriction, and receive certain information in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it.

Right to object: you may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling based on those interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to direct marketing at any time.

Contact info@abmconstructions.co.uk to exercise your rights. We may need to verify your identity. Rights are subject to applicable conditions and exemptions.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would welcome the opportunity to address your concern first, but you do not have to contact us before approaching the ICO.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or our practices. The revision date appears above. Material changes will be communicated where required.
